mt. RORAIMA

Mount Roraima, the flat table top mountain situated at the triple point border of Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana is truly a spectacular place. It is mostly unexplored because of its isolation from the rest of the place through steep cliffs on all sides. The place is said to contain species more ancient than the dinosaurs, because it was untouched and was not accessible. For example the black frog is one such species ancient than dinosaurs. The frog cant jump or hop, it has lost that ability because there are no predators. when touched the frog turns into a stone like pebble.

The place is covered with fog and mist almost all the time and it rains almost everyday all year round, causing flash floods and some of the highest waterfalls in the world, the ANGEL FALLs is located there, For more info on mt. Roraima just click on the wikipedia link provided here

Aquascaping

Aquascaping is the craft of arranging aquatic plants, as well as rocks, stones, cavework, or driftwood, in an aesthetically pleasing manner within an aquarium in effect, gardening under water. Aquascape designs include a number of distinct styles, including the garden-like Dutch style and the Japanese-inspired nature style. Typically, an aquascape houses fish as well as plants, although it is possible to create an aquascape with plants only, or with rockwork or other hardscape and no plants.

It is a very interesting hobby and fun to watch the fish in the aquarium, effort is always made to make the aquascape look as natural as possible and make a miniature ecosystem like appearance.

India Tower

India Tower (previously known as the Park Hyatt Tower; also known as the Dynamix Balwas Tower or DB Tower) is a supertall skyscraper that is under construction in the city of Mumbai in Maharashtra, India. If completed as proposed, the 125-storey tower would stand 720 m (2,360 ft) high, and would become the world's second-tallest skyscraper, after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

The Dynamix Balwas realtor group first proposed the project, under the name of Park Hyatt Tower, in 2008. The Dynamix proposal would have been an 85-storey tower with a height of 301.1 metres (988 ft). The project was subsequently dropped, before being revived and amended in 2010. In January 2010, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation authorised the tower's construction on a site located on Charni Road in Marine Lines, just north of Mumbai's historical district.

the picture shown above is not the real picture its a proposed model picture expected to be completed by 2016. lets hope India completes this building soon enough.

Honjo Masamune : The legendary Japanese Sword

The Honjo Masamune is a ritually forged, ancient Japanese katana with a blade so perfectly balanced and aligned that it splits light, rendering its wielder invisible.

• The sword was forged by Gorō Nyūdō Masamune, and is said to have kept the ruling shogunate in power for hundreds of years by making them invincible in battle.
• Artie claims that the beauty of the sword rests not in its appearance, but in the way was originally forged. He waxes poetic when he says "it was a hammered and folded blade, with millions of layers of steel and a carbon content that's right off the charts. And each layer only atoms – atoms thick."
• It was lost in history and the incomplete blade was rediscovered at a dig site in Okinawa, Japan in 2009.
• The blade is so perfectly forged that its balanced and alignment make it possible for light to split in its path and go around the person holding it, rendering them invisible if the blade is held point up and directly in front of them.

• The idea of bending light was originally proposed by Sir Isaac Newton in 1704 at the end of his treatise on the nature of optics. Little was done with the idea until it was revived in 1911 by Albert Einstein when he wrote "On the Influence of Gravitation on the Propagation of Light" and which he continued to refine and correct into more a elegant theory through 1915 when he completed his general theory of relativity.

• The Honjo Masamune is one of the most controversial and important swords of Japan its current ware about are not known to anybody.

Here are some original pictures of the blade of Honjo Masamune

Undoubtedly the HONJO MASAMUNE is one of the most powerful, important and a legendary sword, such a sword could not be produced again, the skill and art used to produce such a wonderful sword is lost somewhere in history. It is a really amazing sword with amazing properties forged with amazing science, tradition and workmanship...

Causes for HUMAN EXTINCTION

The present state of earth which you see is not constant, our planet is ever changing and always in a danger from unknown forces which can lead to extinction of human species on earth.

Here are some probable reasons why the Human species could be a victim of extinction.

1. WORLD WAR 3 ( NUCLEAR WAR)
The present nuclear weapons that we humans posses for our safety could be the very reason for our extinction, if a world war is to arise then mankind would have to face extinction.

2. INVASION BY COMPUTERS (MACHINES, ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE)
The intelligent computers and robots that we create could someday acquire their own intelligence (artificial intelligence) and try overthrow their own creators by waging a war upon us, the results of such an invasion would be devastating.

3. MASS DEATHS DUE TO PLAGUES, VIRUSES etc.
There have been many incidents and cases in the past where large civilizations have been wiped out by plagues, if such a mutated virus with immense resistance is created it would not be long before we see the end of human race.

4. MEGA DRAUGHTS
Draughts have been a common story since ages, but due to the changes caused by humans to the nature could result in wide range draughts with dire consequences.

Now lets have a look at causes which are beyond our control

5. SUPER VOLCANO
Scientists suggest that there could have been huge super volcanoes in the past which led to the extinction of dinosaurs if such a volcano is to occur now there would be little hope for our survival.

6. MEGA TSUNAMI
A a huge undersea earthquake could unleash a monster tsunami which could drown the entire land surface, there are many such places on earth which could possible cause such havoc.

7. PENDING ICE AGE
Scientists say that the ice age of the past is not a single event but has occurred many times following a particular cycle, We dont exactly know when exactly the next ice age would occur but if it occurs its sure to shun life on earth.

8. BLACK HOLE IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM
The universe is vast with many hidden mysteries, one such mysterious thing is the black hole. If a black hole is supposed to enter our solar system all the planets and sun would be sucked into a pin head sized zone of infinite gravity.

9. METEOR STRIKE
There are many asteroids lurking in space, if an unnoticed asteroid of enough size would hit the earth with just the right velocity, then our fate would just be similar to that of the dinosaurs

Now lets see a situation which we have heard but not sure about it

10. ALIEN INVASION
Suppose an superior species invades our planet..?

We humans such a young species are at the mercy of nature, we should never forget our place and always be thankful for everyday of our life, cause we never know what's gonna happen...
